Anyone else collect Disney Pins?

i love collecting the disney pins, everytime i go to WDW i always have to get some...i have about 500

But we love to collect pins (I collect, my DD trades too)

Yes I collect the Disney pins, and really should get another pin holder as I have to many for just one holder. I would like to trade, but am to shy to walk up to a Cast Member and ask.

DD has about 500. It killed her this last week when I only allowed her to buy 12.

I totally got addicted last week on my trip to WDW - I got 12 for each of my kids down there and am already looking for lots on ebay so we can trade when we go back next year - we really liked trading for the pins - it was a great way for my DD to talk with Cast Members in line or waiting for parades!

My DW started her pin collection three WDW trips back and she was content with just filling her lanyard. Then it wasn't until two trips ago that we went to our first pin meet at the Contemporary and then I WAS HOOKED! We both started with a miscellaneous theme on our lanyards. I soon learned that I wanted to transform mine into a Steamboat Willie/black & white theme. Our last trip back in Oct. I finally faded into black and white. We brought another married couple with us and it was their first time to WDW. DW and I were so excited to show them a good time, so we planned everything. To start the vacation off we gave them their first pins on the first night at Ohana's. We were a little afraid that we might scare them with our pin passion, so we played down the whole pin thing. Then by the end of our trip my wife said I had created a couple of pin monsters. We had the best time ever, trading with all the CM and other traders. Needless to say we have to buy a pin case now.

I love to pin trade. When we lived in Cali I went to DL every weekend and got new pins. I got about a hundred. Cant wait to buy a ton on this upcoming cruise.

I love to collect the Disney Pins! I am trying to get all of the Lilo & Stitch ones! Once I get all of the Lilo & Stitch pins, I am going to display them in a shadow box! When I went this October, I did some trading with some CM's and some other guests! And when I was there I did buy 5 or 6 new pins( each time I go I always buy a couple of new ones)!

No we don't have any rhyme or reason to our collecting. I buy a pin for each resort I have stayed at and buy pins when they remind me of something. Or maybe just a character that I like.

I always try to get the LE while we are there though.

DH bought me the WDW pin trading album for Christmas 02
When we're in Disney I buy for different resorts we stay at, new rides, etc
This past trip I picked up 2 of the DVC pins (Tinkerbell & Genie) and Mission Space and---

Me, too!! Me, too!! My name is Debbie and I am addicted. Started my collection in 2002, bought WAY too many on that trip, came home, haunted ebay. Went back last spring and had to have a list so I would control myself. Wasn't particularly successful! I now have 7 lanyards full, and am working on all the states pins that were given out to CM's. I need 12 more to complete the series. I really don't have many I am willing to trade, but I'm trying to get more for my next trip.

I try to get pins of the rides I do, resorts we visit, parks we're in, etc. Obviously it's gone way beyond that!
