Anyone else booked tickets to see Wall-E on Friday?

We all went this afternoon. It was the kids first trip to the cinema!:scared1:
DS2 who is 2 and a half was a bit afraid til the trailers came on then he was fine. The other 2 were grand. DS1 who is 5 really loved it. He's been going on about it for weeks. DD was a bit unsettled in the second half but enjoyed it too. We went to the earliest showing at 12.10 and it was only about a quarter full BUT the queue was massive for the next showing after 2pm.
DS1 wants WALL.E everything now!

We went at 11.10 that they weren't too tired. They both loved it but DD21/2 got a bit fidgety toward the end but behaved really well.

I enjoyed the film very much, I thought the quality was amazing and it had some very funny tongue-in-cheek moments. However, I cannot agree with the critics that say it is as good as, or even better than Toy Story and some other Pixar releases.
What I miss most about Pixar films is the lack of a good Disney musical score.
In the style of my DH whos marks everything out of ten:rolleyes: I'd say it was 7/10:thumbsup2

Went today with ELW Pat for an afternoon show. Place was not crowded as everyone and their brother wants to see either BatMan or Mama Mia.
Anyhow, it was great!!!!. And, it is a big screen film, so if you think you'd rather wait until it's on DVD, don't. It was so cute, with great effects. A real must see. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I think I am going to go on Thursday and take my Niece (6 next month) & Nephew (8) as a surprise. I can't wait!

We're going tonight!!! 6 of us in comfy Gallery seats and noshing at Nando's afterwards!!! It's what my lovely DS wanted to to do as his birthday treat - he's 23 today... :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Kerry is right. Tesco's have quite a bit and they have an exclusive RC Wall:e and it's a tenner off at the mo £29.99 it does much more than the one in the Disney Store, you may have seen it advertised on TV. I'm orderingit tonight to put away for DD's 3rd birthday in september.
We already have a small figure of Wall:e and Eve:thumbsup2

I have a quick look on the internet today but couldn't find much.....the Disney Store's stuff is pretty poor, maybe they will get more in soon. :confused3
