Anyone Else Booked for October 2006???

We'll be there Oct. 24-31, plan on doing the Halloween party thing. Taking grandaughter (10) and staying at the Contemporary. Was going to take grandaughter #2 but she'll only be 2-1/2. Planning to take her when she is around 4-5 (just another excuse to go again!). I also booked in August and will be watching for any "deals". Would love to get the free dining.

I know I am jumping the gun a little bit here...but I am so excited. Just wanted to know if anyone else out there is also booked for the month of October 2006. We just booked our trip last week and I can't wait!!! Already talking about which restaurants we want to eat at!!!

Count me in! October 21-28 at POFQ, but that will probably change to the CR. I just love being able to walk out my door to the Magic Kingdom!!!

Haven't booked yet (AKL) but we are going Oct. 27- Nov 2. We are going for our 1st MNSSHP and my DS couldn't be more excited.

We'll be back in Oct to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. Haven't booked yet since I don't know where we'll stay. Feb is our first visit to CR so I'm not sure if we'll be staying there or WL.

I'm so happy to know that I am not the "weirdo" my husband thinks I am - other people have also booked vacations for October 2006! DH and I will be staying at WL from Oct. 21 -28. It will be our second trip on our own - children are grown - and the first time staying on site since '93. I can't wait to see WL "in person" instead of just the pictures. I booked through AAA in September and will be on the lookout for discounts and promotions thanks to all of you very savvy DISers!

I haven't made ressies yet, but we definitely will be returning. We went over Halloween weekend last year. This year, we went earlier in October. I think we all preferred the earlier date. Also, I only booked one night at MNSSHP. Next year, I'd like to schedule our trip so we can go twice.

I haven't booked my 10/06 yet, but it is being planned. It will be my boyfriends 1st time at WDW! And it will be my 1st time at MNSSHP and F & W Festival

We are in the planning stages too. We did MNSSHP for the first time this year & everyone loved it so much that we'd like to do it again next year.

All depends on the school calendar & the deal (hopefully) Disney will offer but we are looking at September 30 - October 9!!!

Also have to attend MNSSHP again!

That is when we are thinking about going. the last week of Sept to the first week of Oct. Don't know yet, still just talking. We will be going sometime in 06, I'm sure of that.

I am just waiting on the school calendar as well. I just need to find out what friday NEOTA day falls on next year. I am also debating November because my DD has a 3 day week in November but I think it is normally Jersey week. Is Jersey week really that bad? I can't imagine it being any worse the going in the summer. Can anyone enlighten me?

Count me in for Oct. 06! DD's school FINALLY voted for a week-long fall break next year which just happens to begin on my birthday! (Sat. the 14th) What more reason does one need to visit the World?

Haven't booked yet, probably Pop again. I will try to fly down on Friday the 13th (bad day to fly?), just so I can be at MK on my actual birthday. I plan to collect all the birthday pins from each park and wear them proudly! I've heard the characters really get into you when it's your birthday.

Does anyone have any suggestions for any other special birthday plans? DD is SO jealous. Her birthday is Nov. 7th and we'll never be able to go then unless she misses a lot of school. And that gets harder and harder as she get older. We did go over Thanksgiving in 2004 and tried to belatedly celebrate her birthday then.
