We decided to add two days to our January trip
but, since they are on Marathon weekend, we had to switch from Pop to ASMu. We usually eat TS combined with a lot of in-room meals out of our fridge with things I bring from home or pick up on a grocery stop. This time I have a bit of $$ coming to us from our Disney Rewards card and since the DDE is good at the value food courts we were planning on trying them. We prefer to eat our late meal after we get back to the resort so we can just relax for the evening.
I just took a look at the menu for Intermission and everything looks so incredibly heavy! Has this been your experience? I'm kind of picky about avoiding heavy stuff especially burgers/fries/chicken strips/pizza and there doesn't seem to be a whole lot else, particularly for a week-long stay. Are there other options available that aren't listed on allears or should I plan on a big grocery stop?
We're on a serious budget (going to Paris in May
) so we won't be able to eat TS very often. I'm already planning on bringing DD's dorm fridge for breakfast things and drinks. Do I need to stock up on other stuff if I don't want to eat Chicken Ceasar Salad all week?
In case it helps, it's only me with the problem. Hubby is positively giddy at the prospect of a week of burgers, fries and pizza.
