I'm looking for some reviews from someone who has eaten there in the last month or two.

We ate there on October 3rd. It was good. We each had a burger, chips and the beer sampler. We were just in the mood for a burger, so we took our chances. We sat outside on a great night. Service was fast. I would go there again. Hope this helps!

DH and I ate there in October- we enjoyed it. We shared the hummus appetizer- it was a HUGE serving and very yummy.

DH had the meatloaf and enjoyed it. I didn't have a bite, because I don't like meatloaf, but he said it was good with a mixture of ground beef and ground pork, then grilled after being baked. He had some kind of potatoes with it.

I got the Alfredo pasta w/chicken. It was good- nothing spectacular, but good solid comfort food. It came with some garlic bread that was yummy.

We had a super-rich chocolate torte dessert- it had choc chips, choc icing, and it was just too much chocolote for me, but DH thought it was heavenly. He is much more of a chocolaholic than I am.

Dh had the seasonal Summer brew and liked it very much. I am not a beer drinker, so I didn't have any.

We enjoyed our dinner there and would go again.

***Editing to add- Hey! We were there on 10/3 too!!! :goodvibes

My wife and I ate there in Oct, and also last april. the only thing we like there is the Chicken Alfredo, its great. the steak was kinda dry(had that in april).

We dined there in October. It was okay, we likely won't return because there are better places but it was good for what it was.

I had a pulled pork sandwich and it was good and large, DH had a burger also good and large, and mom had a big cashew chicken salad or somethng like that. She liked it, too. Service was good, the interior (where we sat) stinks to high heaven but you get used to it (something with the beer fermentation). Just unmemorable but a good exp.

We have been there twice in the past couple months and it was very good both times.

This doens't fit your time frame, but my DS (15) and I ate at Big River in June. The food was pretty good but I thought way overpriced for a non-Disney restaurant. The inside of the place needs some serious cleaning and upgrading. There are much better place in the boardwalk area to eat. I would not waste any time or money at Big River again.

My dad and his girlfriend are coming up tomorrow do check out the decorations at the resorts, and we've been trying to think of a resort lunch place to go (Jiko for dinner, of course). I was somewhat thinking of Big River Grill, but I hate to take friends/family to places we haven't been in case it's not a great experience. This thread helps a little :)

We'll probably end up at Kona, though.

We ate there twice in early Dec. - I only like to eat there when I can sit outside. It is our favorite rest. @ Disney! We really like "Brew Pub" type places. We really like beer!!!!! We always get the burger - very good - it's huge! I LOVE the Christmas porter :drinking1

I would not go there looking for a "gourmet" experience. If you want to drink good beer & enjoy the atmosphere of the Boardwalk this is the place!

Ate there on last Sunday before I went to MGM. I had a hamburger and the winter special beer. that was really good..can't remember the name of it.. and the reciept just says seasonal beer...

The brew burger with cheese was $10 and the beer was $5.50.

I ate there a couple weeks ago. Just had a burger w/bacon, let & tom. It was cooked perfect and hit the spot. Served with kettle chips.

Just ate there in November. I like the hamburgers and the pecan crusted chicken breast. Neither DH or myself like the meatloaf. We usually try to eat there once on our trip and have one of their beers.

we were going to eat there one night last week but I had stopped in to use the restroom one afternoon and it smelled so bad of beer in there I said no way! it was too chilly to eat outside so we never went back.
