I leave on Wednesday for a trip with my 3 kids ages 4, 8 and 9. My 8 yr old really wants to eat at Ohana. This was a last minute trip but I was able to get a reservation today for 3 people. I'm wondering what type of table they seat you at for 3 people. Is it a table for 4? If so, I'm thinking I might be able to add the 4th person when we get there.

I am going to call tomorrow and try to change it to 4 but I know there's no guarantee that they will be able to do that. I've always had much better luck adding someone when I go to check in than I have when I call. (I have 2 brothers that live in FL so I often don't know who will be joining me when I make my ressies). I know there is no guarantee of anything but just really want to know what type of table it is so I have an idea what my chances are.

We were a party of 3 and were given a table for 3. It was a great table with one side against the window overlooking the Castle.

I hope you can get a table for 4.

We ate at Ohana with 3 and we were put right along the main walkway with the side along the walkway empty... there is alot of hubub in that place between the coconut races and the entertainers and servers so they like to keep the pathway clear. They may be able to accomondate you but just be prepared to wait.... back last week and the lines for people just waiting were enourmous! They are usually pretty good if you have a ressie though. Good luck!:goodvibes

We had a party of 3 a few weeks ago, and we were seated at a 4 top. More often than not, I think that is the case.

I'm wondering, too, as only ADR I could get for breakfast there is for 3 - but we really are a party of 4. I keep checking for a 4 to open up, but otherwise am crossing fingers we'll still be seated.

I know we added an extra person or two to our 'Ohana dinner reservation when checking in. They were able to accomidate us and it was Free Dining when we were there.

You won't have a problem - there aren't any triangular tables at 'Ohana and you would be seated at a "4-top" with a party of three.

There actually are tables for three at 'Ohana. I was seated at one. It was not a four-top with three chairs.

As with all reservations where the guests intend to bring extra people, there is an outside possibilty that the extra persons will not be seated if the restaurant is full.

We sat at one of those as well.

What time is your ADR?

I book the earliest 5pm. The line is always long to check in at that time.

If you don't have an early ADR, I'd make sure I was there at least 15 min before my ADR time to check in and say you now have 4 people.

We were a party of 3 and it looked like we were sat at a table for 2 and they added a chair to the side of it. It was horrible. We did not have room at all. Dont really want to go back and get stuck at this table again. Our reservation was for 5 so i feel we could have had a little bit bigger table. One wrong move and we would have lost dishes. :headache:

We were there as a party of 3 last summer and were seated at a table for 4

Actually they have quite a few tables along the walls that seat only three. When dining there either as a party of two or a party of three, those are the tables we are normally seated at. We have been seated at a four topper twice, but the majority of the time we get one of those little three toppers. They are placed against the wall, so definitely no place for a fourth person. The food barely fits.
