We were there for our first time in June and loved it! We enjoyed a leisurely lunch and were served by a delightful young man named Remy. It was his first day after training and as we scheduled an early lunch we were his first "guests". It was a delicious meal ... the lobster bisque was fabulous and the service and atmosphere were top notch!

Ate there a while back. The lunch special is lots of great food for $14. Onion soup and creme brulee are divine.

We were just there for dinner last week, it was wonderful! My DD8 was very excited and was raising her hand excitedly when he came over and he said (read with heavy french accent sounding slightly bored) 'Yes, what do you want?" And she told him what she wanted to eat. He told her he was just getting drink orders right now, he wasn't ready for dinner orders yet. Then after he walked away she quoted Ratatoille perfectly "We don't mean to be rude, but we're French." I died laughing. Actually, the waiter, Olivier, was wonderful. He made fabulous wine pairing recommendations for our meal, taught my DD how to properly say 'merci' and made her a cloth napkin candle to take home with her for her birthday (because he 'doesn't sing'). Unfortunately he is leaving 7/15 because his 15 months are up but he got a job at a bistro in NYC, so we promised to visit him there.

I had the cheese plate, which was okay but forgettable. The lobster bisque was one of the best tasting bisque's I have had, and I'm from Long Island. I would note, however, do not expect chunks of lobster in it, there are none, it is a true bisque. For dinner I had Noix de Saint Jacques et gambas sautees Flan d'epinards, sauce a l'oseille - Sauteed scallops and black tiger shirmp served with spinach flan and sorrel sauce which was amazing!!! My husband had the beef tenderloin, I believe, which he loved as well. My husband had the creme brulee, daughter had the sorbet, and I had a french pastry thing with berries. I tried them all -- they were all excellent! I would say it quickly made its way to our top 5 WDW restaurants, right after V&As and California Grill. Enjoy!!!

We've had lunch there twice, the last time was May 2008. I go specifically for the Lobster Bisque. It's wonderful.

We had dinner there just two weeks ago. It was delicious! Our waiter was wonderful. I don't remember his name, but he pushed the children around the room in their chairs while making train noises. It was a very leisurely meal (two hours). We had a flatbread, which was not as good as the California Grill but still good. My daughter and I had the beef and it was cooked perfectly and very tender. My husband had the scallops and ate every bite.

Chefs de France is one of my *new* favorites. We had dinner there in January this year - in one word amazing. As the other poster has noted, we too have eaten at Cali Grill, Jiko, Yachtsman...and Chefs de France is a contender. I vote for the Braised Short Ribs.....best EVER.

OT, but thanks to OP for bringing up this restaurant. We were looking for something to replace WCC on Sunday and this sounds too good to pass up!

Already made my ADR for dinner and very much looking forward to it!

We ate at Chef de France last December and loved it. The food and service were excellent.

Ate there for supper in April and loved it! Lobster bisque and french onion were fab. I had the beef tenderloin and DH had the salmon, both were very good. Dessert was a little disappointing, I had the crepe and I don't remember what DH had but I would definitely recommend it!

I'm so gald to see all these reports. I haven't eaten there in quite awhile but made by Candlelight Processional ressie there (for my family of 11!).
