Anyone driving from Wisconsin???

We are leaving Aug. 29th to drive to WDW, is anyone else leaving at that time??? We shoukld arrive at Kissimmee on Sat. by noon. Nice long ride.

Im not from WI, My Dh and I live in Joliet, IL and we always drive we leave around 3:00 am it takes us about 18 hours.
We always leave a day early and stay at hotel near WDW then we have a good night sleep, then we check into are WDW Hotel early, and then we get to spend the whole day at a park. Have a great WDW Vacation

We are from Wisconsin and drive to WDW almost every year . Leaving at 3am works well for us too as we usually never encounter any traffic issues in Chicago or Atlanta. We live in SE Wisconsin and are leaving on Aug.16 and coming home on Aug.26.

We live in Lockport IL. We are leaving on Friday and driving. We reserved a room at Port Orleans Riverside for Saturday night although I'm guessing we could have stayed offsite for less. We are staying at the Polynesian for the rest of the land part of our week. We have two rooms at the Polynesian but only 1 at POR - since I figured we'd probably get in, swim and fall into bed.

I can't wait.
