Anyone drive I77/79 in December?

We have driven to WDW from Toronto 4 times . We took I77/79 3 times and
I75 1 time. We all HATED I75...long and boring. It added 4 hours to our drive.

We have gone all 4 times in summer so have no experience driving these routes the end of December.

Anyone want to share their experience of driving this route at that time of year? I really really don't want to take I75 again

We have driven the I77/79 in December twice....the first time the weather was great....cold but no snow....the next trip we encountered a snow storm on the way home....also, make sure you have plenty of winter windshield washer fluid because if you use up all you have on the drive down, the stuff they sell in Florida will freeze on your windows (it's not made for -35). Also, keep an eye on the weather reports because some states do not plow the highways until the snow stops.
