Anyone done the Sassagoula River Cruise?

I called again today to try to get the Pirate Cruise for my 2 DS's for our trip (we leave in 2 days). Well the super nice CM told me there still wasn't any openings for the Childrens Pirate Cruise but she did have openings for the Sassagoula Jester Cruise. She explaned its similar to the Pirate Cruise except they learn to be Jester instead of a Pirate. They still get lunch, goody bag, etc... It leaves from the Port Orleans Riverside. Well I ended up booking it anyways, but I was curious if anyones children had experienced this cruise yet and what they thought? Thanks!

I did a search on this cruise but couldn't find many comments. Has anyone actually done this? I've booked it for my son and they have changed the time to 9:30 til 11:30 am. She said no one was booking the 11:30 til 1:30 time because it cuts into the afternoon if they want to go to the parks. Any comments?

Wondering if you know the ages of the kids?? Is it on certian days??

I have it booked on a Thursday from 9:30-11:30 am out of POR. It's $30 per person and it's for kids 4-10. I'm just wondering if it will be fun for my son because at the moment I'm hanging on to our pirate cruise reservation also. Has anyone been there, done that?

We booked the Sassagoula River Adventure Cruise, too. Never even heard of it before today. The CM told us that the kids are jesters, looking to spread happiness all around, or something like that. They look for clues. I assume that it is just like the Pirate Adventure, except you are these jesters rather than pirates. My kids did that last November, and they loved it. I think that the Sassagoula River Adventure Cruise will be fun. When it is done, we plan to go to Downtown Disney and go to Disney Quest. If you did not know, the boat leaves right from Port Orleans Riverside - that is the boat for both the Sassagoula River Adventure Cruise and Downtown Disney.
