I went last Thanksgiving with my two daughters. They were 8 and 5 at the time. My older daughter was worried about being too old to enjoy it-she almost didn't go, but she ended up REALLY ENJOYING it! She was so happy she went.
My 5 yr old got a bit squirrelly 1/2 way through and would have preferred to be playing with her princess Polly Pockets about that time. She made it, but I really think she was a bit young. She is a spunky one, though. Likes to move and play & have FUN!
I REALLY LOVED it. I thought I would snooze thru it and just suffer it out for my girls, but I enjoyed it - probably more than either of them.
The other thing is the gifts the girls take home are really geared toward the 6 and under crowd.
You know your daughter and what she could sit through.
The food was not great. The girls got finger sandwiches and apple juice, some fruit and cake. I got crackers, cheese, and grapes & cake. I could have eaten lunch after the party!
It was a lot of fun. Beautifully done and entertaining (for most!)
Happy planning -
