Anyone done the Meet and Greet with Figment?

Oh wow, I loved Figment when I was little it was my mom and I's ride! I still have my figment from the year the ride opened, 1983 I think! Oh the memories! I can't wait to get my picture with Figment.

Why doesn't he do autographs?

He isn't able to hold a pen. I was hoping they would make a stamp for him like Buzz and Woody have but they hadn't done that yet when we were there. Maybe they will though. They do have stickers that the CM give out.

Why can't he hold a pen? In the picture his costume hands don't look anymore cumbersome than say Goofy's and such.

Back in 1997, Figment was smaller. We got a picture of him by chance as we were strolling through the area around JITI. Dreamfinder was holding him and he held him so that he was sitting on my DD's shoulder. I love that picture. Not so sure I like the new larger version of Figment.

Well, if Figment is just outside of Honey I Shrunk the Audience, that explains why he "seems" 6 feet tall!!!!!

We saw figment standing outside his "lair" with a CM when we were at WDW in December. DH and I went over (I was running) Figment clapped and bounced. He took my hand and led us into his indoor area. We took pictures with him. There weren't a lot of people there. It was really fun. We saw him a few times while there. But he didn't seem to be out for long periods of time (now you see him, now you don't).

I would guess they will continue to have him out. I think there aren't usually a lot of people by him because it is out of the way. Unless you are up there for Journey or Honey, I shrunk you wouldn't know he's there.

I hope everyone gets a chance to see him!!!

We Figment!!!! My DS5 found him for the first time last year and we rode JIT at least six times. He kept wanting to go back and since he's my favorite it was great. So glad they have a meet and greet now. DS will go nuts. Thanks for the info.

My youngest DD has never seen Figment so this is really going to make her day. I want my photo with him too.

You're right about that. Our first "spur of the moment" trip ever- we were totally not prepared and just went by the maps and TOTALLY SKIPPED the Figment ride! Didn't even know it existed. We went to Honey I shrunk the kids- so how we missed it, I'll never know.

Found out about it later, went to Figment on the next trip and my youngest fell in love with him (the ride- didn't see the character while we were there- but she had to have the stuffed toy -the only one she HAD to have the entire trip because of a "ride"- the only other one she wanted/asked for was a Brother bear one later LOL). She loves it so much! (and she's usually into the princesses- LOL)
Can't believe we didn't even know about it the first trip. LOL

This is so cool a Figment meet and greet! I love Figment and so Does My Fiance.....
I hope he is still out Meeting people on our next trip our Disney honymoon in augest! Does anyone know if it was said figment was only out for a little while or is he permanant for a while that would be amazing if he were their i would love a picture of him with us in our bride and Groom hats!

I LOVE Disney and thought that I knew a good bit about it, but I have never heard of figment....can someone fill me in?

We TRIED to do the Figment meet and greet in February, but it was closed the day we tried (Feb 11th)! I even tried to pull the door, and it was locked. We did buy a plush Figment for our youngest though (his 2 older brothers got their plush Figments in 2003). Maybe we can meet him next time... It's more me who wants to meet him than anyone. In fact my younger two will probably be afraid of him.

So, the question now is - Is there a schedule of when Figment is there? I would hate for him to be "gone" each time we visit Epcot. This is the biggest surprise we are counting on for our DS5 for our trip in June. Of course, nothing isn't certain, but it would be so great to say, "Hmmm, I wonder what's up here. Oh, look it's the real Figment!!"
