Just wanted to know what to expect at this party! We will be there on Jan29th on our first trip to Disney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!princess:

We did it last February... we had a great time... it was rather chilly at night and the kids needed coats and gloves... but we were able to ride many attractions, had fun at the dance in Tomorrowland, collect the "treasures" around the MK (candy and beads), LOVED the parade and fireworks..... you will have tons of fun.....

Thanks-sounds like fun! I hope we are not too tired-I think it might be good to come back and rest before the festivities begin!

DD princess: was 10 and DS pirate: was 5. Both LOVED it!! It was a really long day, but well worth it. They really had a great time looking for the "treasures" and having no lines for the rides. We were there at the very end of Feb, and the weather was perfect, the park was realitively quiet and we really enjoyed the parade that they had for the event.

Sounds great. We will arrive at the airport at9am and take magical express to hotel, then we plan to hit the park (or one of them)! I still think we may rest late afternoon. I would like to be at each park each day before they open. I am not sure my commando plan will work with my 7 1/2 yr old-we shall see. We are both so excited we can hardly stand it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:goodvibes

I have a quick question. Would you have enjoyed it as much if the party had been sold out. We are going in late May when there might be a P&PP, but I'm concerned that with the larger crowds that time of year there will be lots of people at these parties. Maybe too many to make it enjoyable. What do you think?

We were there during Presidents Week so I am guessing that it was pretty busy.... the lines were not bad at all..... the park is so big that everyone was spread out.....

I was worried about this also when I went in August to the P&PP.
There were short waits to collect the "treasures". About 3 minutes. But the lines to the rides were short.. less than 5 minutes. :woohoo:
The P&PP is well worth it! I'm going back to it Feb. 2nd!

waterm, we are going on the 29th too. we have a 7 3/4 DD, she doesn't know about the party as of yet. where are you staying, we will be at POP century 1/25 - 2/2.

I am very excited about it and can't wait to see DD eyes when she finds out what our "special night" at MK is, its driving her

have a great time, maybe we will see you there!

The party is excellent - everything is well done - the Fireworks, the Parade, the Treasure Hunt and Captain Jack Sparrow. One note: Get to Capt Jack Sparrow as early as possible. We waited about an hour to see him but even that was worth it. He looks and speaks just like Johnny Depp. He spends good quality time with each party during the photo shoot. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! My girls loved it as they were dressed as the Little Mermaid and Capt Jack was all hung up on his little mermaids..............Thumbs Up to Disney for this idea
