Anyone done Fantasmic second showing dessert seating recently?

Another thing that I think plays into when the fireworks are, is World of Color. You can't have fireworks going off in the middle of World of Color.

I did this about 2 weeks ago at the start of the holiday season and everyone is correct. We seated about 8:30, got our goodies and watched the fireworks from our seats at 8:45. We were seated in the middle section center stage below the light tower and it snowed a TON where we were sitting. We then watched Fantasmic. I actually really enjoyed watching the fireworks from there on top of Fantasmic! With the treats, it makes it extra holiday-ish

Can I ask what time you lined up to sign up for your seats?
I saw a post on Mouse Wait yesterday that had someone lining up at 5:45 just to pick out their seats. I assume sign-in time is 7:00pm, so they waited an hour and 15 minutes to pick out seats they paid $60 for??? This is so frustrating!! I'm excited to do the Dessert Seating, but I paid that money so I didn't have to waste time waiting around!

I usually line up at 7:30 for a non-peak season and always have had front row...Have done 7:15 on busier times, 7p when a I had a group of 6 of us and wanted front and center. All the seats are good, just how picky you are would determine how early you wanna line up. Remember, only one person needs to wait with all the tickets, not the whole group.

I just didn't want one person missing out on all the fun, while the other adult and kiddies were enjoying rides.

I got em! The super nice CM told me that while they were open it was still 7:57 by their clock and the tickets don't hit their system until 8:00 exactly. So we chatted and filled in my contact info until the magic moment and I have now secured three tickets for the early showing on Dec. 30- just in case any fellow Disers want to say hi.

Yes! Best Christmas blindside ever! It is soooooooooo hard to get one over on my kid.

A friend just went over Thanksgiving and she said people were getting their spots picked out at the ROA ground level at about 1630 and then the line started for F around 1800 at the podium is was I think 4th inline and got second row.
In August when we go it is much like this, but earlier at the podium.

Yikes! That's such a long time to wait, especially for the amount the seats cost. I wish they would start booking seats when you buy your tickets over the phone.
Luckily, we are there next week, when crowds are low, so hopefully the line up will not start so early.

Every time I have gone, the line started around 6:00 pm. And each time it was around the 7th, 8th of December or so. Last time we lined up around 6:30, and there were probably about 8 families in front of us. You just never know! When they used to sell balcony seating, they did assign seating as you called, which was nice, so no long waits in line.

It was a Awesome experience!! A friend gave us the tickets, as a gift. It was something I would have never thought about doing otherwise...
We got there early as per his advice. The line started forming about 6:30pm, with 3 people in front of me for the 9pm showing.
We got second row, seats 10 and 11. It was an excellent experience.. it even snowed on us after the fireworks, which we could see perfectly from our seat's... they went off ealy at 8:45 last week.
