Just reserved the Fantasmic premium seating/dessert. CM told me to arrive at 8 pm.
Is this early enough? I know that in the past people lined up at 7 pm.
Also, does everyone in your party need to be there lined up?
TIA!

 After the show we were walking down DTD and I saw this family with these box "too go" things, they were plastic see -thru and I sid "Oh Lucky", you went to the Fantasmic Preferred seat thing! The lady said we have done this every year and this is the first year that I was disappointed:eek: ! She said that the box in front of her is what she got! I have heard it was wonderful before this. Im glad I didnt do it now.:guilty:

Just one person from your party has to be there to choose your seats. I think you will probably want to be there by 7:30. They just changed checkin time from 7 to 8, and some people were confused and lining up early at 6:15 or 6:30, but hopefully that has been resolved by now.

The box is pretty big unless they've changed it substantially. There's pictures of it here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1815941&page=4

Some people think you must be first in line to choose the best seats. Personally, I don't think there are bad seats, unless your 4 year old is sitting behind a 6 foot tall guy, in which case, switch spots with your child, or you could stand at the back. I just liked it because we weren't in the sardine-crush of people on the other side of the ropes.

HTH! :goodvibes

:rotfl: For my money I need a little more then the box of goodies. Im glad you loved it though, for me and my party of 5 its a little steep, and thats the box of stuff she had:wizard: For what that cost for my family I can stay the night at the Grand and go to dinner. Its alot of $$$ for me anyways.:dance3: :dance3:

Thanks for the replies.
We haven't done this before, so I thought it would be a very special treat. DH doesn't know! We are going to surprise him. ssshhhh!

We just did this last week. I am, as my wife would say, a cheap *** and I thought it was good value. It isn't cheap but it beats the alternative. We showed up about 7:15 or so. We weren't first in line but about 6th or so. There are plenty of front row seats. The alternative was sitting on the concrete for 2 hours prior for seats somewhat decent. I thought the snack box was pretty decent. More than anyone could eat I think. I thought the great thing was that you could stay in your seats and watch the fireworks (if you do the early Fantasmic show).
