Anyone done Daytona 500 Experince?

Has anyone been to this attraction? Was it worth the $$$. Are the attractions included in admission, is the track tour included in admission? Would like to bring DH there on our next trip if it is a fun place....he mainly wants to go to the track.

We were just there in May. THe basic tour offers the speedway tour. If you go on a Thurs - Sun you may not be able to go around the actual track on the tram as the Petty Driving Experience (PDE) is ongoing. We were only taken on an infield tour and taken up to the pit wall where the PDE was going on. Admission included the exhibits, 3D IMAX (which was fantastic) and the speedway tram tour. For us it was worth it. If you go on a weekend get there early as we were on a 10:00 a.m. tour (only 3 of us on tram), when we came back to the loading area the next tram was packed)

But went the next time and Loved it very memorable...the walk around and see the cars is very interesting, the tram was soo neat, there were about 10 people racing and to be there with noone in the stands was amazing..they r sooo loud and sooo fast...and we r not racing fans AT ALL,we didn't know 1 car from the next and it was fun..
