Anyone done any of the manatee snorkeling?

(I have no idea where to post this, so I hope this is right.. if not, I'm sure admin. will move it to the correct place.)

I was thinking about possibly doing one of the manatee swims. Anyone ever done one? There are so many.. who did you go with? How was it?

We did the Manatee snorkeling, w/ our 5 kids we had a ball! we went through American Pro Dive. They did a great job . The only gripe I have is the stupid people who chase the Manatees. They tell you not to but you know people, But I got some great underwater shots,and they are really cute creatures! AMD did a great job I would recommend!

all of the tour companies are pretty equal in price and the experience if you take a group boat. if you hire a private charter, you get a better experience but the price is much higher.

when you find a tour you like, check what the manatee population is like in the river. this time of year they're beginning to leave and head out to the open, warmer water.
