Anyone done a slit stay WDW/Universal?

Hi everyone,

I'm thinking about staying at Universal for the first 4 nights, then taking a shuttle to Disney for 10. Would this be a good idea or a pain?

We don't want to rent a car so if we stayed at Disney we'd have to take the shuttle 3 times to US, IOA, SW. Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks

We love splitting our trip! Our last trip we stayed at the Holiday Inn Universal for $75 CN/night for 5 nights. We would walk to Universal, Citywalk & IOA (about a 10 min walk through the parking garage.) We also did some shopping at the outlets and visited seaworld using the buses. We then stayed onsite in at the Disney Boardwalk for 5 nights renting points(studio would cost us $120US/night but we shared a two bedroom with friends for $150US/night) and walk to EPCOT & MGM and took the buses to AK & MK. Great trip alot easier to be close and not driving all the time like our first trip.
