Anyone done a Grand Gatherings event?

Hi, I'm planning a trip for 17 (vow renewal) to WDW next year. Has anyone participated in any of the Grand Gatherings? They are: Good Morning Gathering, Safari Celebration Dinner, International Dinner & Illuminations Dessert, and Magical (Wishes) Fireworks Voyage.

Also, any advice about eating together would be appreciated. We were only planning on having one meal together each day, but I'd like it to be at restaurants where we could all actually sit together. I've heard that a lot of the restaurants only give 3-5 P.M. dinner reservations for large groups. Does anyone know of restaurants that have private rooms?

We are doing the International Dinner & Illuminations Dessert next week when we go as part of the company trip. I also would like anymore information available on this.

we haven't done it yet but we are all signed up for the Magical Wishes cruise with Cap't Hook. when I booked it the lady said it's the 'best seat in the house' to view the fireworks. when I reserved it for all of us, it was the first thing I booked. I wanted to make sure that we did at least one memorable thing all together...that everyone from the youngest to Grandpa could enjoy together.
we have lots of other dinners planned but I think this will assure us of that one great thing all together.

We did the Safari Celebration Dinner in April. It was great. I wanted to do the fireworks cruise also, but we had some kids in our group who do not like fireworks. If we ever have a group of 8 or more again, I'd love to do that cruise. The kids should have outgrown their fears by then...I hope!
