Anyone doing the Monster Dash...

in Minneapolis, MN on Oct. 30th? It's a 1/2 (but they have a full and 10K iirc). The swag is pretty good, too. A fleece pullover.

Or has anyone ever done this race and can give me some tips? I'm bummed because I was hoping to do the Myrtle Beach race to get the surfboard medal. But I have to go to MN for a conference and I found a race going on the day after my conference ends. What luck! So, I can knock MN off my state list!

Just wondering if anyone else will be there.

Some of us did the Minneapolis half in June, put on by the same people as the Monster Dash - Team Ortho. It was a great race, with awesome bling. Hope it works out for you.

Jim and I are doing the Monster Dash they are having in Chicago on Halloween. You get a cool hoodie instead of a shirt, and the bling is a fancy belt buckle. Ok, Jim is going to have to figure out how to display the buckle on our medal curtain rod, but I am sure he can do it!!

Terri, I think it will be a good race to do. I did the MN half that Pat did in June. Some of the organizers wore a Monster Dash shirt at our expo and I wanted that shirt so badly. It was really a cool shirt - black with some orange blinking lights. They said I had to come back and do the race in Oct to get the shirt. Darn!
