anyone doing "december daily"?

just wondering if anyone is doing this? from what I can gather, it's kind of like p365 except it's just the countdown to christmas, so dec 1-24? ally edwards has a whole thing about it on her blog. She makes the book ahead of time and then just sticks the pictures in as she takes them. I probably won't do it this year since I am doing the whole p365 thing already, but I did save the idea in my christmas notebook (organized christmas thing) I then thought it might be fun to do an elf book... decisions, decisions...

What a great idea for people who didn't get in on the Proj 365 thing... or those with LOTS of time on their hands who want to do this in ADDITION to P365!! BTW... that WOULDN'T be me! ................P

We did a class last year for a Christmas Journal, but I never really got a chance to do anything with it (we didn't finish it until after 12/1 and I'm rather anal, go figure). So, it's high on my plan to do this year, for sure! There are a list of questions/subjects that you write about and take photos of. I love the idea, but my execution sucked last year

it's the elf on the shelf. i heard about it last year and never did it. so this year i wanted to be on target so i ordered mine online. it's the story about the elf that sits on the shelf and watches how you are behaving and goes and chats with santa during the night. and they do funny stuff. you can put him/or her in different places doing different things,getting into trouble....
i think you are supposed to take him out at say thanksgiving time maybe?? but ours came in the mail addressed to bubba so he opened it right up, and off we went with ours. you can not touch him or he looses his special power.
nicurn posted about him in the general crafts spot of the boards. you should read it. her's do all kinds of stuff.
i had to go get another one so he could have a friend. (per bubba's request) so i got one at homegoods. he's not the same kind, but he's still an elf. so we have two. we have been having all kinds of fun with ours.

they are awaiting take off approval from the tower. Should be in the air first thing Monday morning.

Sorry, my back is in a bad way, spasms and what not so I literally could not get out of bed Sat morning to get to the PO. I actually had to roll out of bed and onto the floor to get up. Same thing today. BLECH!!!
