We're taking a three family trip the week of Thanksgiving this year. In order to help us keep track of all 12 of us, we designed and created a couple of t-shirts. Here are our designs...what do you DISers think?

Those are really cute designs. What program did you use?
I made shirts for ten of us this last August. I made a Mickey Icon stencil, then did a watercolor technique using it. On the back I had a faded Magic Kingdom with the edge cut out in stars. The wording was Mathews, Caswell, Engler World Tour 2003.
Next summer I am thinking of doing baseball hats. :hyper:

I love the shirts you created! Did you use a special software? I especially like the first design with all the pictures. I was thinking of doing something special like that; but I am starting to run out of time. But I think you have inspired me to try again!

Those are awesome!! Last year when we went down we bought matching yellow Disney shirts that had the Disney logo on the fron with the various character colors in it. I put a design on my sleeve that said "DIS Member DJBounce" on it.

I'm totally inspired! It will have to be our next vacation though, no time for a project like that now. I did order matching T's from the Disney Store with our names and Vacation date which I think will be fun.

We used Photoshop to put together the designs. If any of you have Photoshop and would like to use the first design, I've posted it for download on my website here. It is broken in to many layers and all you have to do is substitute the text you want and make some new layers with your own photos in the letters. WARNING: It's a 20MB file to download and will only work with Photoshop.

BTW, we used an orange tshirt for ours, but the design works very well on a white t-shirt as well. We found a great tshirt seller who has lots of colors in all sizes up to 6XL. It's called blankshirts.com. We paid about $50 for 12 shirts including some plus size ones.

Oh my gosh that is an excellent idea. We have 13 going in April and I need those shirts. I am computer illiterate so as soon as DH wakes up I am getting him started.

Your shirt designs are great. My DMom always embroiders Mickey heads and our names on shirts. This year since we are going in December we got red shirts with green trim on the Mickeys. My DH dreads it, but he does it anyway.

Those designs are awesome and you should get some real attention from the CMs. We have done t-shirts in the past - they were white shirts with Disney script that said "Disney Nerds". The CMs went crazy and kept asking us where they could buy them. This year our entire family (11 of us) are going in early December and we have red polo shirts that my sister used her embroidery machine to put Mickey & Minnie making a snowman on. I'll post a picture of us when we return. I think matching shirts are such a fun idea.
