Anyone do the Undiscovered Future World Tour?

I did it a few years ago at I had a great time. Most of the time was spent backstage going to various buildings and seeing different things. We got to go into the VIP lounge at the living seas. We snuck in through he back door of Soarin' for a ride with little wait. We saw the area that they load the barges with explosives for Illuminations. We learned that day that Illuminations will always be presented regardless of the weather. It's a safety issue. Once they load all the explosives, they have to blow them up. They just can't bring them back in. (something to that effect anyway). We also received priority viewing for Illuminations that night.

I would do it again. There is a 20% discount for Disney Visa cardholders.

My husband, my 18 year old nephew and I did this tour this past January. It was very interesting. As stated above, you see many of the backstage areas and get to ride Soarin' with very little wait. I would recommend the tour. Well worth the time and cost. :)

Did you have any specific questions?

Does any one rember the names of the fireworks colors manufactured specifically for Disney? I think I only remember Lagoon blue -- boy memory is reconstructive!! ;)

We did it many years ago. Fireworks barge area must have been added since we did it, as I don't remember seeing that. VIP lounges in Test Track and Living Seas were very interesting. I didn't even know these lounges existed before the tour.

We've done just about all of them, and have never been on a backstage tour that we regretted. They're all well worth the time and money.
