I was interested in doing this tour but was looking for some reviews on it if anyone had done it. I read you can get a picture with the Sea Lion, which I thought would be neat. Well any thoughts on it, would be appreciated.

I did it last July and didn't really think it was worth the money tbh Basically you meet up with your group by the Sea Lions and your Tour Guide tells you some facts about Sea Lions and Seals and then they take you down to the stadium where you have a private session with one of the Trainers and that's where you get your photo taken. The photo is not included in the price of tour, you have to buy it afterwards, which caught us out. After that you go back up to Sea Lions into a private roped off section and everyone is given a massive bucket of fish to feed the Sea Lions but you have to watch out for the birds trying to steal them. It might have changed a bit since last year but I wouldn't really recommended it unless it's something you really want to do, I guess. Sea World has better tours if I'm honest. Hope that helps!

How much did the picture cost and do you get to go close enough to the sea lion for the picture or not really? Thanks again. BTW, which tour or animal experience would you recommend then if not this one.

Sorry, I can't remember off the top of my head how much the picture cost because as I said it was a year ago when I did it. For the picture, the Trainers get one of the Sea Lion's to come up to the front of the glass of the tank in the stadium and then you stand in front of it while the Sea Lion sort of leans over you from behind the glass. It's all quite a quick process. As for the other tours it depends on how much money you're willing to spend and what animals you want to interact with. Personally, I quite like the Dolphins Up-close tour, the Penguins Up-Close tour and the Wild Arctic Up-Close Experience. If you check out the SeaWorld's website you can find out more information about those tours.
