Do you think a 10 year old would like it or is it for younger kids and is this always the same or do they change it.

We did the Family Magic Tour last January with DD5 and DS3. DD5 LOVED it! I think she was on the young side for it because she was a very beginning reader and the older kids all got to take turns reading clues (which they all seemed to enjoy very much.) Our tour group included kids from age 2 to 15 or 16. The kids ages 4-12 enjoyed the tour the most and all seemed to have a great time. The two toddlers (including DS3) were bored and DS was upset about walking past all the rides. The two teens were embarrassed about all the silly games or things we did. They were good sports about going along with their younger brother, but you could tell they'd rather be doing something else. The adults all seemed to enjoy it. DH and I loved it!

I think a 10-yr-old would love the tour as long as he's not terribly shy or self-conscious about doing silly things. None of the tweens on our tour seemed to have any problems.

I have no idea if they ever change the tour. The biggest difference I've read is what characters are at the end (we had Peter Pan and Wendy but I've read about people having one or the other.) We had a fairly large group and went to Mickey's Philharmagic but I've read about people going on Peter Pan or Small World.

We've done it twice. Once when DS was 4, and again when he was 7. 4 was too young - while he had fun he didn't really get it. 7 was much better, he'll be 10 for our next trip and I think he'd enjoy it at 10 (though we've done it twice - so won't do it again). I'd say 6 or 7 to about 10 or 11 is the right age.

We had two different tours - though my understanding is that there are only two versions of the tour - so we've done them both.

Have fun!

Thanks to both of you! I think we're going to do this.

I think a 10 yo would like it. I was 40 when I did it for the first time and I loved it!:rotfl:

My 9 and 11 year old girls had a blast! We did this for the 9 yo's birthday and the Pirate Cruise for the 11 yo's birthday. They really enjoyed both of these.
