Has anyone done the cruise first, then Disney World? I want to take the 12/19 Wonder Cruise. I am planning on taking my twins out of school a few days prior to Christmas Vacation. They start kindergarten in the fall. I was planning on going on the 12/26 cruise, but the prices are almost doubled for this departure. We just went to Disney World this past Oct., so we will be taking our time enjoying the Christmas Festivities.

Not yet -- we're doing it in September. First the 4-night cruise, then 3 nights at VWL. :D

We are doing the three day Wonder on 6/13, and then traveling to Port Orleans Riverside for an eight day stay in WDW. I couldn't see spending the money for airfare and the cruise, getting off the ship at 9:30 AM, and heading home to Massachusetts. This way, we will arrive the morning of the cruise, and leave at the end of our eight day stay in WDW. Irishmom23

I'll be posting daily trip reports live from the Wonder and VWL so if you have any questions, that'll be the time :)

As far as visiting WDW in Christmas, that is a MUST see. There's a lot of beautiful decorations in Epcot (The musical trellis is cool), of course don't miss the Xmas parade in the Magic Kingdom, or the Osborne Lights in MGM!

Candyht,

Hi I have twins too! Both are boys turning 3. We are doing the 7 day cruise on Magic Sept 14th and then on to the Polynesian for 4 days. We are also flying from Massachusetts and since I really want to see the 100 years celebration it seemed like the best idea to combine both trips and save on airfare.

What a small twin world. I have boy/girl twins who just turned 4. I did the 4 day Wonder followed by 2 days at WDW last Sept. In May we're doing WDW 1st then the cruise. Personally, I would rather do WDW 1st-lots of walking and exercise-followed by the leisurely cruise after. But if the cruise 1st is what fits into your plans better, go for it.

We'll probably only spend about 2 days at Disney. We pretty much saw everything in October including the 100 Year Celebration. I would like to take my twins to attend A Very Merry Christmas Party. We didn't do Sea World in October, so I would like to fit that in on this trip.

My twins favorite part of our October trip to DW was the pool. We stayed at the Yacht Club and they loved Stormalong Bay. It was really hard getting them to leave.

Well, we haven't done it yet, but we're booked on the 4-day Wonder cruise in July followed by a week at WDW. For us, it's our first cruise, but our 3rd WDW trip as a family. Although we hope that the cruise is everything think it's going to be, we know for sure that WDW will be. So rather than risk ending the vacation on a possible sour note e.g. sea sick kids or parents, we decided to do the cruise first with a couple of days in between at Kennedy Space Center (also a tradition). If all goes well we'd look to reversing it in the future for a more relaxing end to our vacation.

We are doing this May 19th. We do the 4 day cruise, followed by 4 days at WLV. I'm hoping that we will all feel well after the cruise, I know that some people have said that they had "funny" heads after getting off the ship. At any rate when we get off the ship on Thursday, we are not going to do any parks. We are just going to enjoy our resort, and probably do the pools. Erin

We did the cruise and then Disney 2 years ago and were very happy we did. We are doing it the same way this year. The cruise is absolutely wonderful and the thought of having to head for home right after it is just sad. We enjoy having the Disneyworld portion to still look forward to as the cruise is winding down.
