holding point reallocation?

I have a longer reservation and a one day standalone attached to the beginning of the longer one. The 31 days is almost here. Not sure I want that standalone day at the start. If I wait until after the 31 days and then cancel can I reallocate those holding points into the longer res made with current UY points?

You can assuming you are not 31 days into the longer reservation.

And that is based on the check in date of that reservation.

So, if the standalone is just one day ahead, you’d have just that one day to decide.

Ah ok that's what I needed to know. So in effect holding points cannot be used for reservations within the 31 day window...pre existing reservations anyway. But can be used for a new res within 31 days?

So then I must decide soon!

Holding points can be used for reservations 60 days or less from check in.

The online system allows you to allocate holding points into a future reservation that was made once you get to the 60 day window but needs to be before 31 days.

Any change to a reservation within 31 days that takes fewer or different points, those points will become holding points.
