We did the Wanyama Safari (aka the sunset safari). They take you on a safari in all the savannahs at Jambo and Kidani. You learn about all the animals that live at the lodge and how they're cared for. Then you return to the lodge for a family-style dinner at Jiko.
Needless to say, we LOVED it. Totally worth the money.
I will be doing the Night Vision Safari this August. I chose that one instead of the Wanynama because we are not adventurous eaters so Jiko is not for us.
I can't wait to try out those cool night vision goggles!

AI did the Sunrise Safari a few years ago (maybe 6). It was only available for AKL Club guests and we stayed Club just to take this tour. We loved it. We saw all the animals as they were just getting out in the morning. The tour guide had lots of time and stopped whenever we wanted for better photos and information. Entire tour on the Kilamanjari track was just over an hour. We then were served an excellent breakfast buffet.
I did not specifically add that the Sunset Safari is at Animal Kingdom park. They took us from the lodge to the park in a truck.
