Anyone do a PCR test at Walgreens recently?

Ok dumb question. I booked last night for a cruise on Monday in New Orleans (Mardi Gras time-I wasn’t thinking) I thought Disney tested you at the port??? I’m just starting the paperwork this morning and I thought I read that. I have a pos test report from Jan so I should be good. Does my husband need a negative test??

DCL does test all passengers at the port. Only unvaccinated (young children) need a test 3 days prior to embarkation (within 24 hours to 3 days prior).

If you had a positive PCR test within 11-90 days of your cruise date, you can get a doctor's note which will allow you to be exempt from testing at the port.

My daughter tested positive on December 26th at the port so we pushed our cruise back to March 12th. We were gonna use the 90 day exemption rule for her, however after finding out Jamaica won't let us off without testing at the port we decided to just go ahead and do the Walgreens PCR test for her. We did it Monday evening and it came back yesterday evening...negative thankfully, so we will get her tested at the port knowing her prior infection is completely gone. It was free of charge

Thank you both. I uploaded my positive test for Covid from January hoping that it will suffice for me. I'm going to test hubby at home just in case. I'm glad to hear they test before you board.

Just remember you also need a note from a doctor (on their official letterhead) stating that you are fully recovered from COVID and are cleared for domestic and international travel. My wife had COVID in January so we got all that for our March cruise.

Yes, I told him what I needed and he actually took my positive result and added that I was fully recovered. I hope that works. I may just go ahead and get a test just in case from CVS. I hope I get the results from the Safe Passage group before I schedule a test. This what happens when I book less than 5 days out! ha

Has anyone gotten a PCR test done at Walgreens lately in FL - it says on their website it is free but I also just read somewhere you have to pay $129?
Check to see if your insurance covers Covid testing at that location. My insurance covers drugstore Covid testing (no cost to me), but only at certain locations.
