Anyone Disneymoon a couple months after the wedding?

DFi and I are thinking of a June '08 wedding, but if we decide to disneymoon I'm not really feeling the summer crowds- has anyone ever waited till a couple months later (maybe Sept for us) to honeymoon? Was this a good or bad decision?

We were married in May at Disney, stayed a week. We had our 2 step children with us. We went back in July for our disneymoon alone, a 4 night cruise & 3 nights @ The YC. It made the magic last months!

We are getting married in nov. but are waiting till jan 2008 to go on our honeymoon. Our main concern is saving money and buying a house so a honeymoon is going ot have to wait. I really dont mind, it gives me something to look forward to. Keeps the magic going!!

We were married Dec. 22, 2005 and just came back from our honeymoon 11 days ago. Our honeymoon began one day after our first anniversary. We live along the gulf coast and DH's family lost everything in Katrina. We just didn't feel a honeymoon at that time was right. Anyway, waiting a year gave me something to look forward to and anticipate. It also gave us time to save the money to go all out on our "Disney"moon. I planned like crazy and had everything mapped out to the second. In the end, we tossed some of the plans out the window and just flew by the seat of our pants (so to speak). We had a wonderful time and some of my favorite memories are all the little unplanned/unexpected things we did.

One of my girlfriends got married in August of this year and then had her honeymoon in Nov. Her and her hubby say its the best decision they made since their destination was much more quiet. It really depends on your both. Good luck
