Hello-
We keep growing in numbers each year! All of our ADR's are made for a party of 7, but at times they say we have 2 tables and others 1 table. Since 3 of us are small children, I'm wondering....what happens when you check in? Do you tell them that you have to have 2 tables together? Should we wait for tables together or is this not a big problem. Thanks in advance! Amy

We went last Thanksgiving with out extended family of 11...(8 adults, 3 kids 2,5,6)

We had ADR's at O'hana and Chef Mickey.

In both cases they said on the phone, they could not be certain we'd be at one table, but as we checked in at the resturaunt, the host said not a problem.

In both cases, in O'hana they pushed tables together. At Chef Mickey, their was a large half botth / half table they sat us at.

You should be fine.

If you have two tables, there's nothing to worry about. Both tables are linked in the system so they will be side by side. Most, if not all the time, you will have the option of pushing the tables together.

I've done seatings for ten and had two tables. We had to wait just a bit because the table for four was ready but the one for six was still occupied. The host told us the party at the table had already finished dinner and dessert and were lingering over after dinner drinks. Once they left (in about ten minutes), we were seated.

Another time we had three tables for four for a total of twelve. All three tables were side by side and we were given the choice of pushing them together which we did.

The reason for doing this is that reservations are done by tables, not by people. So you have a reservation for two tables of four.

We went with 6 people and all but a couple of times they sat us at the same table. The two times we were separated, it was two tables near to each other.

We also went once with 9 people and had the same experience where most of the time we sat at one large table or a couple/few tables near to each other.
