Taking family to Le Cellier for dinner for our CP package on Monday night. Anyone eat there for this package and could reccommend any special dishes/desserts?
We ate there two years ago with the CP package. Though I do not remember what we ate, I remember that everyone loved their meal. And I must mention that we were a party of 8, so that does cover a lot! Oh, wait, we did have the cheddar cheese soup, yum! I wish we were there again this year, and would definitely go back to Le Cellier (which we have done at other times of the year since). ENJOY!
Our family of 7 ate there for CP the Monday after Thanksgiving.
We have eaten there many times and it was similar.
Everyone except me liked their food. I was not happy w/ my steak but I am a very picky eater (not picky as in snobish, just never happy according to DH).
My DH loved the salmon and he said the kids steak was better than mine.
BTW, the "Chess Cake" has a very fancy description but I am happy to report it is a normal chocolate cake.
Also, the kids S'mores are not the same at PTD. As a matter of fact I am not even sure why they call then S'mores. S'mores in Canada must mean something a whole lot differnet than the US.
We ate at Le Cellier last week with our CP package. It was very good. We had soup, steaks and chocolate cake. You can add a lobster tail for $10 extra. They will be packed so you may have wait awhile. If you wish, you can read our review at this link http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=700233
We just ate at Le Cellier on Monday night and it was wonderful as usual!!! My dh and I both had the beer cheese soup, 7 oz. filet and then I had the maple creme brulee and he had the Canadian Club cake. All the food was wonderful, the filets cooked perfectly and the desserts were delicious!!!! Have a great dinner!! ( Saw the 5pm CP)
We went in 2001...don't remember what we ate other than the yummy cheese soup! We did have a bit of a wait even with the PS, so you may want to try to arrive a little early if you're doing CP after dinner.
Just returned from WDW and did the CP dinner at LeCellier.
Meal was outstanding. Everyone in our party loved their food and the desserts were great. There was nothing on the menu that you couldn't have, since they don't have a true lobster meal. If you ordered drinks or additional items, they will give you a seperate bill.
We did the CP prior to our PS at LeCellier and that was perfect, since we didn't need to rush to make the CP.
Here was our timing...
Went to the 5:00 PM show of CP
PS at LeCellier at 7:30 PM
Finished dinner and dessert just prior to 9:30 PM
Watched Illumnations at 9:30.
