I'm thinking my son has one of these. He lost all his baby teeth lateral incisors, and all was well until the last one, which is completely in the wrong place and looks like a baby tooth, although it is the one that just erupted.

I'm trying to figure out what that will mean as far as dentist trips/orthodontia.

TIA!

Younger DD had this situation, inherited from grandma. Orthodontist said it generally is genetic. When she completed orthodontic treatment she was referred to a dentist specializing in cosmetic dentistry to have bonding done. The results were absolutely amazing and the process was very easy.

thanks! I'm not sure if he'll need braces yet or not. Other teeth seem pretty straight, and dentist thought there would be plenty of room for the adult teeth.
