Anyone close recently?

We have our check ready to go, our paperwork complete and are overnighting it tomorrow to the closing company!

We are just wondering how quick does Disney get the info, when will we get a member #, and the most important question - WHEN CAN WE BOOK OUR FIRST TRIP HOME?

we just bought on june 12th but we were at disney. we got temporary cards on the spot. we were told we would close july 16th and were told we could book as soon as we closed hope this helps

We purchased our new home at BCV on the Magic on May 16th....on the 17th we visited to see them up close....got home on Monday....called and got our membership number and booked that day....they were great and very helpful.....and they had what we wanted.....give your guide a call.....

We haven't closed on the resale, can we call and get a number?

I believe we will close in 2 weeks but because we did not purchase through Disney we may not be able to have our number until then.

I think you are correct....and if I am not mistaken...Disney has the right to first refusal....so if they like the price they just might buy it back and resell it themselves at the higher rate. Good luck with your purchase....and "WELCOME HOME"!

Are you sending the deposit (escrow) check or the final payment check? If it is the final check for the remainder of the balance, then you will close as soon as the closing company receives your check and the signed papers from the seller. Disney usually has you in the system within a week or two and you can make ressies then. I closed last week and I am not in the system yet...but any day now!

As per the previous post, if you are at the point of the final payment, Disney has already waived ROFR.
