Anyone cashed HBC points for Westjet gift card?

We have been saving HBC points for atleast a decade. I looked to see what I can cash them in for and I can get $300 in Westjet vouchers. Has anone done this and if so how long does it take to get the vouchers sent to us. Our trip isn't until the fall, but I want to book airfare this spring.

Did this last fall.

If I remember correctly it did take a few weeks to get them. You can track it on the HBC website.

These can only be used for flights, not vacation packages. When I booked, you could not do it online you needed to call. (I am fairly certain I was able to apply it to everything including fees and taxes.)

They come in $50 and $100 increments. For $100 you have to cash in 850 000 points.

Thanks! One more thing, do you remember if there was an expiry date or a black out dates?

Cannot swear to this but I do not believe there was an expiry date or black out date. (we used them for our pre Christmas flights which returned during a peak travel period)

They looked like regular WJ gift certificates not special to HBC.
