Anyone buy the hair prodcuts online?

I'm looking for a site that carries a variety of hair products online. Then I can just order six month supply at a time. I love the salon products but hate those prices!
I'm really liking this order online and send to your house!!! Not that I'm getting lazy...just love the convenience!!
I think I'll be doing lots of Christmas shopping online this year too!!!

Anyway, if you have any suggestions of hair sites...please pass them on. Let me know what you think of the site, if you have used it etc.

I buy hair products from Drugstore.com...they have Toms from Maine products and that's what we use. They have a lot of others too, so you could try them and see if they have what you like.
I've used them for other items too, they are fast and efficient.

I too was tired of the salon prices and tried ordering online. However, my experience was not the greatest. I am very picky about my hair spray, I like a lot of hold without looking like I have a ton of hair spray on. My brand of choice is Tigi's Bed Head, Super Maxxxed Out. I ordered it online because I found a very large bottle at a very good price. When I received my hair spray and used it, it just didn't smell or seem the same, so after using it for a couple of weeks and complaining that it just didn't seem right I bought another bottle at the salon.....and lo and behold, it wasn't the same formula. The bottle was very similar seperate, but when you put the two bottles together one was a darker color and the one bottle had clear hair spray in it and the other was opaque in color. So I guess the moral of my story is the good deal I thought I was getting, wasn't.

Now on the flip side of the coin, I have ordered things from drugstore.com (not hair products, but other products), and I have had no problems with them at all.

I frequent dealhunting.com to look for deals. You just never know what you'll find there!

tiggerlover....I too like LOTS of hold without looking like it. I am looking for a new hairspray, I'll have to give it a try. I was using Redken #20 and loved it, then they went and changed the formula. Why they do that I'll never understand.

i have had good luck at ebay. I've gotten great deals on Terax crema and Kiehls.

Hi Wendy sorry I can't help with a on-line site. I work in a salon and get the products at cost, frankly if I didn't I don't think I could afford some of these products. While I agree they are a cut above the products sold in stores. Some are still quite expensive.

Sometimes there are some great specials. Check you local salons to see if they are running any specials. I always stock up when we run specials. Even getting them at cost they can still be expensive.

Find a hair stylist who will buy products for you at cost! Actually, we did have one who did this for DH & I, but we usually went for haircuts at the end of the day (no bosses around) & didn't take advantage & buy a ton of stuff.
