anyone buy the entertainment book for Anaheim?

I looked at the 2008 for Anaheim and it doesn't look like there's a lot one could use around Disneyland to make it worth it. I'm curious though if and what has been offered around there . I'm thinking it would be more cost effective to get one for our area. For use at hOJO of course.

But my own answer to myself has been..."if there are coupons in your local area that you can use, buy that one".

Definitely, get it for your own area. No reason not to. Ours is currently $10 and we've used a couple of the coupons, even though it more than paid for itself (well, yeah, it saved us $160!) with what we'll save at HoJo in Oct.

I agree to buy one for your area. I buy them from my nephew's football team every year. So far, we've paid for ours three times over and that's not including my HOJO discount. Well worth it if you like to eat out and the movie coupons are cool too! It let's us go to some new places for dinner, one's we might ot have tried had we not had a coupon.

This year's current book expires November 2008. you would need the new one if you are planning to go to DL after that I'm assuming. however, I don't know how they inspect the ent book cards. If they just look to see if you have one or if they actually punch the number on it? Anyone know that? Have fun!

Avalon, if yours is like mine (I get the south puget sound but imagine you get north), the Safeway coupons ALONE pay for it! I paid 15 for mine at the beginning of the year, and have $20 worth of Safeway coupons. After that, it's all gravy!

The cards change color each year, if owning them in '07 and '08 means anything for '09, so they don't have to do anything but look at them to see they are current. You need the one that's current for your dates.

I think you get the current book free (pay shipping only) if you pre-reserve the 2009 book. I know this is true for the Sacramento area book.

Right now if you by a 2009 book you can get a 2008 book for any area for free, so you could buy a 2009 book for your area and get the 2008 book for Anaheim.
