Anyone buy the Chef Mickey's picture package???

We bought the package and then realized the big photos are 6x8 and it's impossible to find frames for this size.

The same thing happened to our DCL photos (6x8) and they are now just shoved in a box.

Anyone have any idea where I could find 6x8 frames?

I did a search on the Internet and only came up with UK and Europe sites that carried them! No US sites...

I really want to be able to enjoy this Chef Mickey's picture in a frame....help!

I have a paper cutter and I cut mine down to a 5 x 7. There was extra space surrounding us so it worked out well. Otherwise, you could take it to a frame shop and get them to do a custom frame. I have done this before and it can get a little expensive. But a 6 x 8 should not be that bad. Old America used to have pieces of a frame that you could buy and they would put it together and frame it. For instance, you would buy two 6" pieces and two 8" pieces. We don't have an Old America anymore, but maybe someplace like Michael's does. Good Luck.

We never have bought the pictures but you could use an 8x10 frame use an inside border and it will look great. Good luck

I was just wondering how much the pictures are and what exactly do you get. I would like to have them and need to budget. Thanks in advance!!

What an odd size ... You could cut the picture or use one of those paper frames before putting it into a normal size frame.

I also remember Ikea having some odd size frames ... like 9 x 9.

I believe it was $26 total for two 6x8 photos of your group and two 6x8 of the Chef Mickey gang and then 2 magnetic wallet size photos which are really nice to have. One went to my husband's work and the other's on our refrigerator.

You could buy the pictures individually but it was a better deal to buy the package and since we looked good (all looking and smiling) we decided to buy the whole package.

We are suckers for those family shots and usually buy them. We use the cardboard frame they are in as a mat and frame them that way. They fit perfectly in an 8x10 frame this way. Enjoy - we have 4 hanging on the wall now.

We did the same... The Cardboard folder with Mickey and the gang fit just right in an 8x10 frame.

The same thing happened with the Main street photo, I left it in the folder before framing...

and the matted Bach Club litho I got when joining the DVC... it was an odd size 10x12 or something, I had to cut it down.
