Anyone buy new outfits before going to DL

We seem to always buy a lot of new stuff, pack way too much and then never wear most of it because we buy stuff in the park that we HAVE to wear the next day, and the next day, and the next....lol
I always wonder why we pack anything at all!

I cannot go on vacation unless I have clothes with tags on them in my suitcase.

I feel like a princess with my new clothes when I am on vacation. I really don't buy souvenirs. I'm more of a foodie. I usually go to Ross or Kohls and I hit the sales racks...and pack my bag/case with some cute stuff

I usually like to get a few new things. Normally I like to wear them at least once before I go because it isn't fun to find out that the zipper always falls down on a pair of shorts when you're in the parks. I feel like I have to "know" my clothes. But this time I have a few things I got great deals on at the outlet mall and I haven't had time to wear them so hopefully they will work well. So, I have a combo of new with tried and true.

And of course, I pack too much because I'm not sure what I'll feel like wearing when I wake up.

I don't sew outfits but I do like to put a Hidden Mickey on my thumb nail before I go.

For my Oct trip I bought myself an outfit that will make it easier to go through security, and is very comfortable, and that's about it, other than some hand held games to pass the time waiting for the flights to depart. I'm in the process of doing a major stock up on clothes for the kids for our surprise Feb trip, as they are things that the kids are going to need after the trip, and it makes it alot easier to pack their bags without them suspecting anything. I just have to hit a thrift some and pick up some more pants and I'm done.

I always buy one new shirt to wear there on the first day and that's it My suitcase is EMPTY pretty much and then I buy all new shirts at the park hehe

I usually just pack clothes I haven't worn in a long time, and since I work 5 days a week in sweats, that's pretty easy to do! However, my last trip consisted of things I got at Old Navy from their clearance rack. I find their clothes to be comfy and the quality, at least for me, is great! And I just wear my reliable Vans Slip Ons, as they take too long to break in when you buy them new. But I love the custom clothing idea, and making your own clothing, if I were a little more crafty that's what I'd do!
