Anyone buy contacts online?

I'm another who uses 1800contacts.com. I've ordered my DH's contacts from them a couple times, and it was pretty easy. They are definitely cheaper than the Dr's office. I know that for my DH's insurance, they cover one box of contacts per year, and the rest is out of pocket. I think he can make a whole year on 2 boxes, which means we only have to pay OOP for one of them.

with that lens be careful..
call whoever you chose and ask if its in stock..
my husband wears the same ones.. and they take forever to get..
most places 3-5 days plus the shipping of 5-7.. angers me!

i can tell u who not to use.. lens.com
first year they didnt tell me they didnt have the lens.. the shipped one but not the other. didnt get it in stock til 4 weeks later.. can you believe they didnt call or anything..

this year.. gave credit card number. paid for next day shipping.. somehow the expire date of card was off and card got declined..
think they called?? no i called them then a message appeared in my email.. after i cursed them out.

i will never use again!!

i have been eye ballin vision direct :)

Who makes the daily toric lenses? Are these Acuvue or another manufacturer? I am still in my 2 week "trial period" and haven't totally gotten used to them yet. I also seem to have a lot of dryness and I feel like the one on my left eye is rotating more than it should because it gets blurry sometimes.

I wear Focus Dailies Toric Lens. Love them so far. (It's been about 2 months) I have an issue with eye infections/dry eyes, so dailies were the way to go for me. The dr said they were a little lighter and I may end up with a red eye with the 2 week toric ones. I love that they are marked on the lens, so you know which way is up. Sometimes if it moves, I can look in the mirror, shift it down to the white of my eye to see the line up mark and reposition. (I don't know if all torics are like that?)

I ended up ordering from Walgreens.com. I had found a coupon code at the time. And it made them about $50 for a 90 day a box, whereas my eye dr wanted $78 a box. They are expensive, but worth it to me after years of eye trouble.

I ordered DH's online this year. The eye dr. wanted $180 for 4 boxes. I paid $150 for 8 boxes from visiondirect.com. I will be ordering my contacts from them as well. I paid oop, but our insurance will reimburse us. I had a 20% off code, plus received a discount for buying 8 boxes, and got free shipping (plus 1000 mypoints).

I did replacemycontact.com and I was very very happy and I think after my rebate I paid about $28 a box and my doctors office waned to charged me $72 :scared1:

I have been ordering contacts online for about 4 years now. My insurance will reimburse me up to $100 for the contacts and acuvue (the brand i use) usually has a rebate or two out there for them. I just switched to Acuvue Oasys and paid $160 for my lenses. insurance reimbursed me $100 and i should be recieving a first time user rebate worth $75.
