Anyone bought tickets from last minute travel?

Yes. The DLR ticket sales section looks a little different. They used to list 2, 3, 4, 5 day park hopper prices. I see now it just says "2 Day Base Ticket" at a price of $151.01 for adults and $136 for children.

If I recall, the other options pop up when you put in travel dates.

I am here now and this is my third time using them and have never had a problem. You either present the voucher at the ticket booth or at registration if you are staying at a DLR hotel and they will give you your tickets.

I have purchased tickets and a vacation package in the past from get away today with no problems. I just purchased a 2 day park hopper for my niece that will be joining us later in our vacation for a weekend and saved $12 over
Disneyland's price.

Just a note about Last minute travel their prices were for a base ticket the fine print said for one park each day, not a hopper. Hope this helps someone. I needed a park hopper so glad I looked!

hi
thanks so much for posting this.

ive just checked out the site and for a 3 day park hopper it was $180.36 for adults and $160 for children.

am i reading it right ???

is lastminute.com the same as getaway today, im confused ?

sorry for all the questions but just trying to organise the tickets for our 1st tip to DL.

You are reading it right. :goodvibes Getawaytoday is a different company but someone said earlier in the thread that they have price matched Last Minute Travel prices. I think more people are familiar with Getawaytoday and would perhaps feel more secure buying from them. It seems like there are enough people here though that have bought from LMT to feel comfortable with them too. I haven't done it yet but I think I will get our tickets from LMT.

I bought a 5 day park hopper from them and not a base ticket (look at previous post with image of voucher). You can definitely buy park hoppers there. I think that the fine-print might be confusing? I can see where someone could read their "details" two ways, but a Park Hopper is a Park Hopper and as many have said above it is not a base ticket unless you purchase the base ticket that they also sale. I would hope there would be a ton of posts here if people were getting charged for 5 day PH's and instead were getting 5 day base tickets.

I bolded the part that I think is confusing. It says on their site (copied/pasted from there):

GetawayToday does price match. We just did this 2 weeks ago. We felt more comfortable with them, as we have used them 3 or 4 times.

How do you accomplish this? I've purchased from them before as well, and would be happy to use them again. But lastminutetravel is $40 cheaper per ticket...is there any way they would price match that large of an amount?

Do those prices include taxes??? Those are GREAT prices??? I will definitely be using them when I buy my tickets for my trip in Oct.

We bought the 5 day PH from LMT and saved a lot! I got the vouchers and my service date was set for about 2 weeks before I will actually be able to use it, have you all had any problems turning in the vouchers for tickets on a day that is not the service date? It does say valid for 60 days but from date of issue, and our trip is more than 60 days out. Will that be a problem?

Just bought our tickets! Woot Woot! (I can still here Roz saying that in the Pixar Parade. :))

Has anyone had any experience booking a hotel room through LMT? I passed up a great deal on a hotel for my December trip because I read horror stories online from people who'd done hotel reservations through them (extra charges, no record of the payment and/or reservation at the hotel :scared1:) but they were all from a couple of years ago. Curious to see if any fellow Disboard-ers have sucessfully used LMT's hotel discount feature...

Hi, just wanted to update this thread with my experience. I used LMT 1.5 years ago and it worked fine but I did have to request the voucher several times and was very confused about the process (wasn't sure there was supposed to even be a voucher). All in all, it worked in the end and saved money.

Well we just booked for our Thanksgiving trip so I went online to LMT again to order tickets last night and did so at 9:00pm and by 8:00 this morning I had the actual voucher sitting in my inbox! I was so surpised, I hadn't expected it that quickly, but now I knew it may take a couple weeks. It clearly states on the voucher to redeem it at the ticket window for your tickets.

Very happy that this was such a simple process this time and hope it helps somebody else save money on their tickets as well!

I received my voucher lst night and I am soooo stoked. Two weeks until my trip starts even though it starts in Vegas and not Disneyland.

I also wanted to update that I bought my tickets last night (Friday night!) and they are in my in box today, SATURDAY morning. Talk about great service.

Are you able to get the voucher's changed out early enough to be in for early admission? We will arrive late at night so can't get the tickets until the next morning.

Can you still get all the same perks with this ticket package if you stay at a Resort Hotel? I assume it idn't any different getting a room only vs vacation package if you buy park hoppers.

I just wanted to update this thread in case people find it when searching. Everything went smooth with this company. The only thing I had left to update was how it went when we redeemed them. It was smooth! We had 4 adults and 2 kids and we all had to be at the window so she could put our names on the back. They were 5 day park hoppers just like they said. We did not upgrade to the AP because we were there in October and are not planning a trip until November 2012, so no info to report there. I would feel 100% safe using this company again.
