We are so excited!! We've been so busy lately that the thought of sitting on Castaway Cay in a lounge chair sipping a bahama mama, doing nothing else, is like heaven right now. That thought is going to get me through the week.

Anything in a plastic cocoanut sounds like heaven right now. I just want to put my toes in the water and enjoy the view. Only five more day friends and we will be sailing away.

It's Wednesday! 4 days and counting!
Finally, getting the suitcases filled! Took a little more time to make the clipboards that I will have the Characters sign, but I think it will be a nice souvenir!

I was ahead and now I'm falling behind. Did a mass dash to Kohl's last night to get shorts, flip flops for me, and sandals for the boys. It's not even warm yet and everything is picked over. Guess that's what happens when you wait to go shopping to right before spring break. I had to ask for this Friday off to get ready. Yikes!!! We leave Saturday for NY. Staying over at DG's to catch a 7am flight to MCO. Not sure what I was thinking. That is what happens when I have too many visions of drinking bahama mama on the beach. Do they have food at the Port if we have to sit and wait a long time before boarding?

We planned to stay on the ship in Nassau. Met some folks who took the cruise before and thought I was crazy to not take the water taxi over to Atlantis. I was thinking the trip with two young boys may not be worth it. I've read mixed reviews on it. What's been your experience?

andreafrommass- I did the exact same thing last night. Ran to Kohl's to pick up some stuff. No matter how hard I try, I'm always running around last minute.
As far as Nassau is concerned, I've been off the boat one time out of 4. We went for a tour of Atlantis, which ended up being way too long for my son who was 3 1/2 at the time. Total meltdown. My kids are older now..thought about doing the Aquadventure, but it's so expensive and my youngest may not be tall enough or want to go on enough slides etc. to make it worth the $$. Having said that, I do think Atlantis is worth seeing once. Not sure if that helps at all, but those are my thoughts.

andreafrommass- Unless something has changed, no food sold in the port terminal. You may want to plan on having some crackers or granola bars handy. Hope everything goes smoothly with your travels!
We'll get off at Nassau to hopefully walk to some historic buildings & take some photos of the kids there. None of the tours sounded great for our kids' ages, but a playground would be nice to find. We were there for our honeymoon, long ago.

Pick up a couple of snacks on your way out of the airport. Last June when I was there there was nothing to grab and the kids were starved. Packing up all my last minute items, getting nails done, etc. Hope everyone has a very safe trip to the docks, we look forward to meeting everyone on Sunday.

For those crazy like me who are on disboards before we board, reminders that we have our dismeet after lifeboat drill in the district lounge. I'm in a purple flower tank top And will have a hello kitty folder with the fe list

We are back home! I just wanted to thank all of you for the gifts. It was so much fun for us getting back to the room and finding our surprises.

Our whole group had SO MUCH FUN! We can't wait to do it again someday.


It was nice meeting some of you at the meet. Hopefully our paths will cross again one day on another Disney Cruise!
