Anyone Booked on April 15 2012 Dream

We are driving from MA Leaving on Friday after school. Driving straight to FL Have booked room in Orlando for Saturday night. Not sure if we will park at port or use park and ride. Anyone else driving?? Where are youm planning to park

We are flying down the 14th, but thanks to Direct Air, our trip is now a looong one. We are being driven from MA to JFK in NY. (3 1/2-4 hrs). Then we fly JetBlue into West Palm Beach. (2 1/2 hrs.). Then we get our rental and drive up to the Port (2 hours). We are staying at the Country Inn & Suites Sat. night. Can't wait to finally get to relax on the boat!!

We are driving down on Thursday. We are staying in Daytona for a night and then disney's vero beach on Saturday night. We are parking at the port.

I may have asked This before but is anyone going to Atlantis on Monday. Part of me wants to see it but the other part of me wants to stay on the ship.

We fly in on 10th April and are staying in the orlando area and on the saturday we are going to the country Inn & suites and doing the cruise parking package :)

might see you there irishone21 :)

We are thinking off doing the blue lagon trip on the Monday afternoon and staying on the boat in the morning

flying down saturday night and crashing at the hyatt MCO.
Let the countdown begin!!! I think Ive nearly finished my FE gifts, now I just have the pins left.

We are flying down the 14th and staying at the Hyatt. We are doing the Atlantis tour just to get off the boat for a while. It is not an early tour so we can relax in the morning without needing to get up early and rush off. The two other families that are going with us are planning to walk around Nassau but we are not.

We plan on driving down Friday night and staying in cocoa beach sat night. Just packed up my fe gifts and just have to pack a little more and I'll be ready. To all - please have a safe drive and flight in. I look forward to meeting you all in a bit. Happy Easter to all.

Flying down Saturday and staying at the Hyatt MCO as well! We're also doing the Blue Lagoon beach day in Nassau--we were there in 2003 (our last Disney cruise!), and it was really nice--uncrowded and great beach!

We are driving up Sat am-going to Kennedy Space Center, staying by the port, we will use the park and cruise for the car, 4 nite cruise then 3 nights at Royal pacific for UO/IOA.

We are thinking of seeing the forts and queens staircase while in port on Monday, maybe even he pirate museum. I ned to look into it more. Stayed on ship on last trip, and had gone over to Atlantis the time before.

It's getting soon and my to do list is getting longer, not shorter!

@ thebrundogs what time are you doing the blue lagoon trip and are you doing a dolfin experiance as well? We are booked on the lunch time trip.

Happy Easter all I am doing my last day at work today and in a few hours I will be on vacation time :)

Still got to pack but am getting really excited as we check in on Monday :0

Happy Easter & Resurrection Sunday to all! And safe travels to each family!
4Holidays- My husband works at KSC & may be able to get you discounted tickets, if you don't already have them. (PM me if you want)
Should be a neat time to visit- he was suppose to work the day before the cruise as they are getting a Shuttle ready to fly up to D.C. There is another Layoff of Shuttle workers on the 13th- so it also might be a bit gloomy around here. Thankfully, we have a great trip planned!
My sis is driving from GA on 13th to our Mom's in Melbourne & we'll be crossing the 2 inter-coastal rivers the morning of our Dream Bon voyage! We'll be parking at relatives' homes.

We are flying into Orlando on the 15th and staying at the Hilton Coco Beach. Looking forward to the fun!

Also I forgot to mention my 6yr old daughter has NO idea we are taking the cruise. This will be the second of third time we've suprised her with a trip to either WDW or a Disney cruise.

:woohoo:

I was doing the same thing, but have decided to do an egg hunt from the bunny and let the kids in on the surprise on Sunday. I have a call scheduled from Mickey that morning so the kids should really be suprised. I can hardly wait to get on the ship and see everyone.
:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

I give you all a lot of credit! I could never keep our trips a surprise....I get too excited! It must be fun though, seeing their excitement & surprise.
:yay:

Catman--We are on the morning trip with no dolphin swim (YDD is a month too young.). Last time we were there we had several family members do it, though, and they loved it! There are several return times to the ship--you just pick which is best for you (we have early dining, so we'll need time to get ready).

Our excitement was stifled a little bit yesterday .My dad was taken to the hospital last night. So we are making a trip to Canada this weekend. (that's where they live) Hopefully, he will be get better and we will start our drive to Florida on Thursday. I am really looking forward to the FE and meeting all of you.

Happy Easter everyone!

@thebrundogs - we are on the afternoon trip that gets back to port at 4:30 so its going to be a little rushed as we also have early dining! Our son is 3 and its going to be his first time seeing and comming near to a dolphin but my daughter has swam with then twice already :)

Sorry to hear about your dad - BVC4us hope all is ok

HAPPY EASTER :)

To FE's familes we logged into Disney again to check and see if my parents room had changed but they still have been assigned room 2028. We will keep on checking and if there are any changes we will let you all know.

Counting down the days :)

Headed into school today down 3 of my 7 staff and only 1 sub ( its an intensive classroom so every trained person matters).. All I can do is go to my happy place on the boat with all of you in a week

If you are changing rooms on the spreadsheet, please do so by next Friday so I can print copies for everyone before I leave Saturday. At the dis meet we can make any last minute changes..
