There is a AAA travel show in my area right when we are booking. Has anyone ever booked at a travel show and gotten an extra discount or a better deal? I know agents get the same prices we do booking, but I'm curious if booking at a travel show would save any extra.

If travel suppliers in general (not just Disney) are doing a special limited time travel show rate, that rate is usually available to all local agencies whether they are part of the show or not.

If it's something extra that AAA is providing on its own then other local agencies most likely would not get in on it. It's possible that there might be a small booking incentive provided by AAA to book at the show, but the package rates are generally available to all agencies.

I have the last 2 years ours is AAA travel expo. I got a free backpack/tote bag for booking at show plus disney 25.00 gc and Think i was suspossed to get music cd but didn't yet. The 25.00 GC and music cd were for disney month, the tote bag was travel show exclusive gift.
I also got free atlas last year( 2012) for booking at show. Other vendors had incentives also.
A lot of cruise lines gave 100-200 onboard credit. I actually picked up some coupons for near airport parking that I'd use anyway but these coupons are best discount of year and they are good all year.

I/Dh have also won something the last 3 years from vendors. And our AAA office sent us free tickets for this years show.
