Anyone book WDW through AAA?

Has anyone had any luck using their AAA membership to book a WDW vacation?

I never booked through AAA, but I have used my AAA membership to get a discounted room. i just called the regular Disney number and asked for the AAA rate.

Last time I booked at the AAA, they made us buy passes that included Discovery Island, which we never used. It has since closed, and I won't go through them again, since I hear they make you buy passes with extras on them when you book a room.

we booked our Cruise through AAA and are looking into if we are going to use them for our land portion. so far i have liked what they have done but i am trying to see if i can get a better rate by myself.

We booked room only with AAA last August. Got a rate less than Disney rack.

They seemed fine although we were low maintenance (called, booked, done!)

Have always used AAA for my trips. We always take a package and thought we were getting good rates. This year I booked with Mouseears and saved $800 below what AAA could get me with my discount by using the codes. I have found in the past AAA or at least the local office can't apply the codes when they come out since they already have reduced rates. Plus Mouseears made all my ps's and did them in a timely fashion without being reminded to do so. I made all my own with AAA since they didn't seem to know as much about them as I did of course I am "board savy"

I booked our room-only Pop stay through AAA, but found my TA was NO help when WDW released the Fall Rates specials.

I would have been better off to book direct through Disney at the AAA rate, and then try myself to see if I could get it changed to the lower rate.

I booked our WL stay through the web site at the Fall Rates. I suppose it all depends on if you get a great TA.

i use AAA, but i usually call and reserve just room only rate. then decide later whether to change it or not. we have never had a problem calling directly.

I seem to always be able to get a better rate booking myself rather than through AAA. I did however purchase my park hopper's from them before we left last trip, but it wasn't the cheapest, just the most convenient.

We book our own and apply the AAA or AP rate (whichever we can get). The reason being that if you want to change anything, you have to go through AAA. WDW won't change it for you, only your TA. We had this problem this summer with my FIL's reservation. He went through a AAA TA, and it was a nightmare!

I did and i had nothing but problems with them. If i needed to ask a question it would take me days to get ahold of them. Their suppose to help you with your reservations and wouldnt do it they just said to call for myself. I didnt save that much money. I would try another travel agency.
