Anyone book car hire for August yet?

Got a great deal last year with Hertz, About £400 for 22 nights and I think I got £40 cash back. That was for a 4x4.
Booked flights today so in full planning mode now! 23 nights from 6th August. Anyone seen any deals?

We booked car hire today for June for 2 weeks. Gran cheeroke was £286. Hubby changed mind see report below as I can't remove this one

We booked ford escape today for 2 weeks in June with hertz £250, seemed good rate.

We booked for five weeks From July 23- August 27, minivan from Alamo, for £877 last week through Rentalcars.com. Was really pleased to get such a good deal- it was at least £400 cheaper than the same car direct from Alamo or anyone else.

I still have July & Sept to book, don't usually book til nearer unless a deal pops up. The last Hertz sale was only til end of June so hope they have another sale with summer dates.

We booked recently from 16th August for 3 weeks for £286 with Holiday Autos when they had the USA sale day and booked via Quidco for cashback too.

It's only an economy car but that's fine for us as we're only a family of three.
