Anyone book a package with the Disney Visa?

Would I have to put the total amount at once, or can I put down the $200 and then but the rest of it on the card.... Or can I just put whatever amount I choose? I'm pbbly going to switch my hotel only reservation to a package to take advantage of the dinning program. We had the free dinning on our August trip and loved it! It would more than pay for itself even if we pay outta pocket!

I put my $200 deposit on my Disney Visa, and then my balance too. I think you can pay as much as you want, after the $200 deposit. It has to be paid in full 45 (?) days out, I think.

We had the free dining in Aug. too, and we plan on paying for it if it is still available for our next trip. (Or maybe it would be FREE again! Doesn't hurt to dream. LOL)

I have a question about booking with the Disney visa also. I was planning on paying with my card and paying it off right away to get the reward points. I was just wondering if there is a special incentive to use the card. Any discounts or extra reward points? Thanks!

Just 0% interest for 6 months with a package.

We are using it. We are leaving for our trip Sat the 10th. We made the $200 dep. when needed and then put the remaining bal. on at 45 days out. I believe you have the free 0% interest 6 mths from each date that a balance is put on. Each month you can just deduct the amount for the trip w/ no penaltys if you want.

You get the 0% for 6 mths on packages, you get reward points, they have differant specials all the time, but I've found the double and triple reward points are for CA not FL. I just got a coupon booklet letting me know of some uses at Disney. An extra 10% off a $25 purchase at DD. A free 5x7 of character picture at Epcot. There was some other stuff, but they were the only ones that interested me.

I can't verify that for sure. But I can tell you we paid the $200 deposit, then paid the balance at just above 45 days with the DVisa and got 6months 0% on that. So I can verify you don't have to charge it all at first booking to get the 0%. The biggest thing it stipulated was it had to come from the Disney Travel Company - so I think AAA or other methods wouldn't qualify.
