No, I love it. To me, it tastes clean and fresh, which makes little sense because I wouldn't describe any other fresh green vegetable in that particular way.
However, my SIL, who teaches Chemistry, says that it's a chemical thing with some people. Literally, if you have a certain gene (or combination of genes or whatever) cilantro will taste like soap to you. She told me this when she tasted my homemade soup and told her oldest not to eat it, that she wouldn't like it. At first glance, I was a bit offended, not understanding how she could possibly know that with such certainty -- but then I found it interesting.
This explains why people are never moderate with their opinion of cilantro. People either love it or hate it.
