Anyone been to WDW in the last day or two? (Weather question)

Looks like the weather is going to be somewhat unsettled the next few days. Has it been like this all week, and what's it been like? Did it hurt your park time?

Does it normally just turn out to be t-storms for a little while at night?

I would also like to knw about the weather the past few days. I have an aunt, uncle, and cousin going down on Saturday. Then I have 2 seperate friends who are already there. Just curious how it has been lately. Have a Great trip ChefBilly

We have friends down there right now and they said the storms are rolling in now. DH heard the thunder through the phone.

It is now officially "Rainy Season". Which means sunny in the morning and afternoon showers for the whole summer. And that's what it has been the past week. But they usually blow through pretty quick and then it's hot again.

I live about 10 minutes north of Disney World. It has stormed here every day for the past week. When it starts storming, the rain lasts for a couple of hours. The lightening has been very intense. Today, it was really bad! I haven't been to the parks, but I did go to Downtown Disney today for lunch. It rained while I was there and then cleared off. About an hour after I got home, it really broke loose. Severe thunderstorms here and for the parks. The local weathermen are calling for a continuation of this pattern for the next few days. Sorry for the bad news!

The last couple of days have been worse than usual, even for the rainy season. The only good point is that my front lawn looks pretty good after all the rain we've had. It was a very hot and dry spring here.
