They always have traditional holiday buffets.

We went back in 2006 and had the buffet. You have to call the resort and make ressies. I think you call 90 days prior and is very popular with the locals so call asap to make ressies.

We're also going to be there over Thanksgiving - our local grocery stores offer a Thanksgiving meal that's already made that you can just pick up and serve at home - anyone know if there might be something similar in Vero Beach?

Publix offers turkey dinners that you can pick up. The resort has a Thanksgiving Day buffet that includes traditional turkey dinner items. You can also order a full turkey dinner to be delivered to your room. We saw them delivering one to a beach cottage when we were there for Thanksgiving a couple of years ago. Spoke to the Cast Member who was delivering and she verified you can order the full meal to be delivered to your room. Many options.
